Seth started forging knives in 2015, in his back yard in Casper Wyoming . The process has always interested him and one day he told his wife "I'm going to do this", with her support and criticism he spent the next year making tools and blades , each one getting better and better until his quality and integrity became top notch . In 2018 he applied to appear on history channel's " Forged In Fire ", he competed in the season 6 episode 28 "Blackbeard's Cutlass", although being voted out in the final round he still hammers out functional heirloom artwork .
